Brad Bell is the Maryland Bureau Chief for ABC7/WJLA-TV. He joined the station's news team in 1991 and has received more than a dozen Emmy Awards for a variety of stories, including breaking the story of Pfisteria contamination in Maryland waters.
Prior to joining ABC7/WJLA-TV, Brad reported for WMAR-TV in Baltimore, Maryland. He was a general assignment and State House reporter from 1986 to 1991. During his tenure at WMAR-TV, Brad also covered environmental issues in "Project Environment," a newscast segment.
Previously, Brad spent two years with Maryland Public TV as a State House and documentary reporter/producer. He has also been a field producer for Independent Network News in the Washington bureau on the Capitol Hill.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Maryland.
