Traffic Alert: Road closures planned Friday for Capital's Home Opener Red Carpet

The Washington Capital’s Home Opener Red Carpet event will take place Friday in the District of Columbia.

The following street will be posted as emergency no parking on Friday from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.:

  • F Street from 6th Street to 7th Street, NW

The following streets will be closed to vehicle traffic on Friday from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.:

  • F Street from 6th Street to 7th Street, NW
  • Westbound traffic on F Street from 5th Street, NW

All street closures and listed times are subject to change based upon prevailing or unexpected conditions.

Drivers should expect parking restrictions along the street and should be guided by the posted emergency no parking signage. All vehicles that are parked in violation of the emergency no parking signs will be ticketed and towed.
