Maryland Transportation Authority Police officers arrested an Anne Arundel County man during a traffic stop in Baltimore on Wednesday evening.

Around 6:00PM, an MDTA Police Officer stopped a red Ford Windstar on southbound I-95 near Caton Avenue (Exit 50) for a registration violation.

During the traffic stop, the officer attempted to identify the vehicle’s passenger after observing the passenger not wearing a seatbelt.

Although the passenger provided a false name and different dates of birth, officers successfully identified the passenger as 27-year-old David H. Taylor from Pasadena.

Officers learned that Taylor was wanted on 12 open warrants for offenses committed in Anne Arundel, Baltimore and Carroll counties.

Taylor was taken into custody and transported Taylor to the Baltimore Central Booking & Intake Center.

Taylor now faces additional criminal charges related to attempted fraudulent identification.
