D.C. Police put out an all-call for a stolen white Jeep that was taken with a 4-month-old baby girl inside Friday night.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), the SUV was taken from the 3000 block of M Street NW in Georgetown at approximately 6:03 p.m. By around 7 p.m., the baby was found safe in a southeast D.C. neighborhood.

Immediately after getting the call, officers said they began working to issue an Amber Alert and use air units to search for the stolen car and child. The Amber Alert was still being prepared when the child was found, officials said.
According to officials, an officer was flagged down in the 2700 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, SE for a child in a car seat left on the porch of a home.
The home was about a block from MPD's sixth district station, officials said.
Officers responded to the scene and found the baby, who was evaluated by D.C. Fire and EMS crews. No injuries were reported, according to officials.
The child was then reunited with her mother, officials said.
The white Jeep has not been found, officials said. Police continue to look for the suspects. They say the SUV is missing a gas cap door.
